the paradox of our time
we have taller buildings but shorter tempers,
we have wider freeways but narrower viewpoints,
we spend more but we have less.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;
we've added years to life, not life to years.
-adapted from Dr Bob Moorehead-
we usually take things for granted
intentionally or unintentionally.
so although it's a stressful and crappy phase,
i wanna say a special thank you to EB
thank you for being there for me especially these past 2 weeks,
looking after me more than usual and always trying to cheer me up.
i'm just glad you're there for me,
anytime and anywhere :)
