picture postcards

humans are weird creatures.
we always need to see a coloured picture in front of us.
life is always horribly black and dull or wonderfully rainbow-coloured.

i know i'm guilty.
sometimes it just seems difficult to accept "okay"
after going through so much.

maybe i should learn to accept life for what it really is;
the boring and mundane,
the routine and habitual.
