somewhere along the way, I hardened my heart until all the hurt was numb. friendship is a queer thing. you never know when you'll leave each other or if you'll stay together forever. for me, the most important thing about friends is letting me know where i stand; if you treat me as a friend or if it's all too one-sided. if it is one-sided, i'll leave. it's that simple. you could say that friendship is like a roller coaster ride. you both have tickets for the roller coaster. i don't want us to realise halfway that we've got tickets to different seats and it's a different ride altogether. that's not what we're in this together for. i really love you but if it's not going to work, let's leave. it's a painful decision, i know i'll cry but it's better to let go now if your heart's not in it.
